Rating: 2 Stars – Below Expectations

The Osea Ocean Cleanser comes with impressive promises, from revitalizing and cleansing the skin to being a sustainable, eco-conscious choice. However, my experience with the product didn’t live up to these claims, leading to a 2-star rating.
Despite being marketed as a top-rated facial cleanser, it failed to meet some basic expectations. The cleanser did not fully cleanse my face, leaving behind makeup and impurities. After use, my skin felt greasy rather than refreshed, which was disappointing for a product that promises to effectively remove excess oils and impurities.
While the idea of a pH-balanced formula with gentle exfoliation sounds great, I did not experience the radiant complexion it claimed to deliver. The cleanser’s inability to fully clean the skin made it difficult to appreciate any of the supposed benefits, like unclogging pores or promoting a glowing complexion.
On a positive note, I do appreciate Osea’s commitment to clean beauty and sustainability. The product is vegan, cruelty-free, and free from harmful chemicals, which is appealing for those who prioritize eco-conscious beauty choices. However, even with these ethical credentials, the high price point feels unjustified given the product’s underwhelming performance.
In conclusion, while the Osea Ocean Cleanser checks the boxes for sustainability and clean ingredients, it falls short in its core function as a cleanser. For the price, I expected a more effective product that would leave my skin feeling clean and refreshed. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this cleanser, especially when there are more affordable options that perform better in terms of removing makeup and impurities.
