The Tula Skincare Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser had potential with its promises of being a gentle and effective face wash, makeup remover, and nourishing and hydrating cleanser. However, my experience with the product was less than satisfying, resulting in a 2-star rating.
One of the key claims of this cleanser is its ability to remove makeup. Unfortunately, I found it lacking in this area. Despite its promise, the cleanser did not effectively remove my makeup, requiring me to wash my face several times to achieve a somewhat clean result. This was both time-consuming and frustrating, as I expect a cleanser to streamline my skincare routine, not complicate it.
Even after multiple washes, my skin did not feel thoroughly cleansed. The cleanser left a residue that made my face feel less than fresh, which is a significant downside for a product marketed as purifying and hydrating.
