Rating: 2 Stars – Below Expectations

The Wonderskin FYP Filter Powder claims to provide a weightless, blurring effect while controlling shine and setting makeup, but my experience with this product was disappointing, leading to a 2-star rating.
What Went Wrong:
✖ Made Skin Look Dry & Cakey – Instead of delivering a soft-focus, flawless finish, the powder accentuated dryness and settled into fine lines, making my makeup look heavy and uneven.
✖ Dull, White Cast – The so-called “universal translucent shade” left a noticeable white cast, making it unsuitable for many skin tones.
✖ Did Not Blend Well – Despite being finely milled, it didn’t melt into the skin the way a good setting powder should.
Minor Positives:
✔ Lightweight Feel – It didn’t feel heavy on the skin, though the chalky finish was still a dealbreaker.
✔ Oil Control – It mattified well, but at the cost of making the skin look dry rather than naturally smooth.
Final Thoughts:
The Wonderskin FYP Filter Powder falls short of its claims of delivering a flawless, soft-focus finish. While it controls shine, it makes skin look dry, cakey, and leaves a white cast. There are better, more skin-friendly setting powders available, so I would not repurchase or recommend it.
